Facebook Photos May Lost Your Benefits
Facebook is one of the social network that can share your thoughts, videos and photos to your friends and relatives. You have to be careful the next time you share your photos on your facebook or other social networking site.
A Canadian woman, Nathalie Blanchard, lost her insurance benefits. She took a long term sick leave from her job at IBM, in Bormont, Quebec, more than a year ago due to a severe depression. She receiving monthly benefit from her insurance company, Manulife.
When the payment dried up this fall and she called the insurance co, they informed her that she available to work because of Facebook. Blanchard posted several photos on facebook showing her having good time at the bar show, her birthday party and on sunny holiday.
The company, Manulife, declined to comment on the incident but said that they would not deny or terminate a valid claim solely based on information published on such as Facebook.

ReplyDeleteNabasa ko nga rin to. Natawa lang ako. Although my sentiments go to Nathalie, d ko rin nman mapigilang mapa-oo nga! E paano naman kc she's on leave for a severe depression tapos makikita mo she's really enjoying it bigtime somewhere else.

Nebz- oo nga sa update ata nung report ay iyon daw ang advice ng doctors nya magsaya at mag enjoy. so baka nga may ground na ibabalik ang benefits nya.
