Last week, June 29, 2009 ay may balitang gumulantang sa Filipino community dito sa Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Dahil sa may napatay na isang Filipina. Ito aya naging usap-usapan sa mga schools at tambayan sa Al Khobar. Ayon sa mga kuwento ay pabakasyon ang nasabing Filipina. Nasundan daw sa kanilang tirahan matapos itong mag papalit ng pera. Ang hinala ay ibang lahi ang may kagagawan nito. Bukod sa pagnanakaw, maraming saksak ay pinagsamantalahan pa. Medyo hindi kredibol ang mga kuwento. Kaya kinabukasan ay naaantay ako ng balita sa Arab News. Habang inaabangan ko ang balitang ito sa News ay nakapagpost na sina Thoughtskoto at Ilonggo sa Disyerto .


Kaninang umaga ay may napublish na sa Arab News solved na ang kaso. Meron pong good news at bad news sa incident na ito. Ang good news po ay nahuli na ang salarin. At ang bad news po ay Filipina din ang may sala. Ang pinaka masakit po nito ay naging kaibigan nya sa loob ng 20 taon. Ayon sa Arab News ay nagkaroon ng argument ang dalawa. Hanggang sa nakakuha ng kutsilyo ang “kaibigan” at ito’y pinagsasaksak. Para sa karagdagan balita ay basahin din sa ABS-CBN.

Napaka hirap isipin na ang kapwa Filipino pa ang kumitil buhay sa isang kaibigan. Kung sa unamang kadahilan at nagawa nya ito ipagdasal natin na sana ay hindi na po maulit ang ganitong incident. At sana manaig sa bawat isa ang kababaan loob upang malutasan ang mga hidwaan ng may kaayusan.

Isang bagong-saltang kaluluwa ang umakyat sa langit ang ngayon ay nakaharap kay San Pedro. Namasyal silang dalawa sa langit. Magkahawak-kamay silang naglakad-lakad sa isang malaking silid doon na puno ng mga anghel. Huminto si San Pedro sa harap ng isang lupon ng mga anghel at nagsalita, "Ito ang silid-tanggapan. Sa silid na ito, tinatanggap lahat ng mga kahilingan sa panalangin.. "

Pinagmasdan ito ng kaluluwa, at nakita nitong abala ang lahat sa pag-uugnay-ugnay ng mga kahilingan na nakasulat sa bunton ng mga papel na galing sa buong mundo.

Nagpatuloy silang maglakad hanggang madaanan nila ang pangalawang lupon ng mga anghel...


Ang wika ni San Pedro sa kaluluwa, "Ito naman ang 'Packaging at Delivery Section'.. Dito, ang biyaya at mga pagpapala na hiniling ng mga tao ay binabalot at dini-deliver sa mga tao na humingi noon."

Nakitang muli ng kaluluwa kung gaano ito kaabala. Maraming anghel doon ang talagang subsob sa trabaho sa dami ng mga pagpapalang hiniling at dini-deliver araw-araw sa lupa.

Hanggang sa dumako sila sa huling lupon, sa pinakamalayong lupon. Huminto ang anghel doon sa isang maliit na lupon. Sa kanyang pagkamangha, iisang anghel lamang ang nakaupo doon, walang ginagawa.

"Ito ang 'Acknowledgement Section," sabi ni San Pedro.

"Bakit tahimik? Wala ba silang ginagawa rito?"

"Nakakalungkot, " sagot ni San Pedro,"pagkatapos makatanggap ng sagot sa kanilang mga panalangin ang mga tao, kakaunti ang nagbibigay ng pasasalamat. "
"Papaano ba magbibigay ng 'acknowledgement' ang mga tao sa Diyos?"
"Simple lang... Sabihin mo lang na "Salamat po Panginoon."

"Ano bang pagpapala ang dapat nilang ipagpasalamat? "

"Kung may pagkain ka sa iyong hapag-kainan, damit na sinusuot, may bahay na tinutuluyan at kamang tutulugan, ikaw ay mas mayaman sa 75% sa mundong ito.

"Kung may salapi kang naiipon sa iyong pitaka at may natitira pang pambili ng pagkain, ikaw ay isa sa 8% na may mga kabuhayan sa mundo.

"Kapag nakuha mo ang mensaheng ito sa iyong computer, bahagi ka ng 1% sa mundong ito na may ganyang oportunidad.

Was an American Pop Icon known as the king of pop. He was born into the Jackson family as the 7th child of Joseph Jackson. When Michael Jackson was very young, 11 years old, he and 4 of his siblings began a band with their father Joseph Jackson as the manager. The band was called "the Jackson 5" and the group attained much commercial success. It was not until 1971 that Michael Jackson left the Jackson 5 and began his solo career. He went on to become one of the most famous recording artists of all time and eventually became the "king of pop" a title he bestowed upon himself. His solo albums hold many titles for their astounding number of sales. 5 of his albums hold records for number of sales.

Some of these videos are so influential that they are credited with changing music videos from a recording of the song into mini movie works of art. This led further to Michael Jackson's popularization of amazing and complicated dance choreographing and musical numbers. This dancing featured prominently in his live shows. His record breaking live shows earned him enormous amounts of money.

Some of the dances moves popularized at these live shows include the robot and the moonwalk. Michael Jackson's musical influence stretched across many musical genre's including hip-hop, pop and R&B in part because of his eccentric and distinct style of vocals and music.

One thing that many do not know about Jackson is that he raised and donated MILLIONS of dollars to over 39 charities for a multitude of causes through his namesake foundation. This is often overlooked due to his appearance and increasingly bizarre and changing appearance. Not to mention a string of child molestation accusations...

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES ON H1N1 VIRUS

The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Riyadh wishes to inform all Filipinos residing in the Kingdom that the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is implementing the World Health Organization (WHO) rules on the prevention of the spread of the deadly Swine Flu or Influenza A (H1N1) virus.

The Kingdom is anticipating the possibility of an outbreak of the Influenza A (H1N1) Virus in the Holy Sites of Makkah and Madinah (including Jeddah, the gateway to the two Holy Sites) during the holy month of Ramadhan when about three (3) million Umrah pilgrims are expected from all over the world. For this reason, the Saudi authorities have launched a comprehensive information campaign Kingdomwide to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.

Saudi international airports have put in place preventive measures to screen arriving passengers to avoid receiving person/s suspected of having been infected by A (H1N1). The Saudi Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Health have installed thermal cameras at all international airports for this purpose.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has recommended several steps to avoid infection during the Umrah Season, noting that there is still no available vaccine for the A (H1N1). The public is urged to take the following precautionary procedures:

• Avoid crowded areas like malls and recreation areas;
• Use special masks whenever visiting any crowded areas, mosques and holy sites. Masks are available at all pharmacies in the Kingdom and can be used for several days;
• Take care of personal hygiene at all times, specially going to the malls and shops;
• Avoid touching various products displayed at the shelves;
• In case of high body temperature, pain in joints, cough, headaches, and loss of appetite, immediately consult a doctor for proper medication;
• Do not eat uncooked food; and
• Do not take drugs unless prescribed by qualified physicians.

In this regard, Ambassador Antonio P. Villamor wishes to remind Muslim Filipinos in the Kingdom who may wish to perform the Umrah before and during the holy month of Ramadhan to take all precautionary measures to avoid Influenza A (H1N1) infection.

The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh would also highly appreciate it if any case of H1N1 infection involving a Filipino national could be reported immediately to the Embassy. END
