"Samsung has started investigating an incident where a Galaxy S3 device allegedly exploded inside an owner's car in Ireland. The incident came weeks after another model allegedly exploded in a Korean schoolboy’s pocket, according to a report on tech site T3. "I was driving along today with my Galaxy S3 in my car mount when suddenly a white flame, sparks and a bang came out of the phone. I pulled in to look at my phone, the phone burned from the inside out. Burned through the plastic and melted my case to my phone. The phone kept working but without any signal," T3 quoted the owner as saying."

Iphone Mobile Phone Self Combustion - Repost

Regional Express (Rex) flight ZL319 gperating from Lismore to Sydney today had an
occurrence after landing, when a passenger’s mobile phone started emitting a significant
amount of dense smoke, accompanied by a red glow.
In accordance with company standard safety procedures, the Flight Attendant carried out
recovery actions immediately and the red glow was extinguished successfully.
All passengers and crew on board were unharmed.
The matter has been reported to the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) as well as the
Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) for investigation and directions.

Yesterday there were text messages circulating in the Philippines. About the Acid Rain in the Philippines From Japan and radiation leak from nuclear plant.   Some schools cancelled there classes due to the fear of the acid rain and radiation effect.  As early as the SMS spread, the DOH (Department of Health) confirmed that there is "No radiation threat in the Philippines from Japan Nuclear Power plant. Yesterday my friend informed me that they can not send and receive mail messages from their BlackBerry phone. Telecommunication regulator confirmed that effective today, August 6, Saudi Arabia enforce ban Messenger testing message service.

"(The ban) is only for the Messenger. Negotiations are still going on, the deadline is final," said Sultan Al-Malik from the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC).

Meanwhile UAE  (United Arab Emirates), which plans a ban on BlackBerry Messenger, e-mail and Web browser services from October, said RIM is flouting its regulations.

The move is based on the security concern.

Dear friends today (March 27) we celebrate Earth Hour 2010.  My family and I is very delighted to be a part of this wonderful event. We will switch off the lights from 8:30 to 9:30 PM. 

Here in the Philippines there will be a "Street Party" in the Bonifacio Global City at 6 PM. Performers are: UP Dharma Down, Cynthia Alexander, Noel Cabangon,  Pedicab, Lou Bonavie & Earth Jam, Gorgoro and more.

And "Switch Off Ceremony" in the Mall Of Asia also at 6 pm. Performers are: Arnel Pineda, Moymoy Palaboy, Ballet Philippines and other artists.

Being citizens of this beautiful mother earth, let us show our love to her. Let us do it together, just only one hour of the day. Wherever we  are just  turn your light off only for one hour. There is no other place like Earth. We can do it "If We Try!"

The adrenalin-ramping event will showcase the groundbreaking technologies of fast and furious jets, historic aircraft and entertaining aerobatic displays, as well as the option for ground displays and customer demonstration flights.




The public show will be open every day from 9 am until 5 pm on January 21, 22 and 23. Spectators will be able to watch the flying display from a massive grandstand, while the commercial exhibition area will be devoted to corporate static displays and VIP hospitality.
