Strengthening Your Marriage and Living Happily Ever After

Strengthening Your Marriage and Living Happily Ever After

Marriage is a give-and-take relationship, as the cliché goes and it is as a matter of fact true. It may sound as simple as these three words for singles out there who are on the way down the isle but they actually mean big responsibilities. In fact, good communications, better relationship, especially financial are the major recipes for a happy marriage.

Moments are expensive. It is not enough that you and your better half share time together. Sometimes, it is not worth it at all if you are physically present but your mind and emotions are somewhere. Turning each minute of togetherness into expensive, unforgettable moments is another thing that definitely works to the maximum.

Be Open To Each Other Good communications and openness is the key to a happy marriage. This is where trust and loyalty starts. When a husband and wife let each other know about how they feel at the moment - jealousy, anger, irritation, sadness - each is allowed to learn about their differences and similarities and make adjustments.

Being open to each other does not mean though that they must know every bit of information about each other. The element of mystery still works effectively to keep each other from being bored. Openness involves transparency of emotions so that they can settle whatever misunderstanding they have, they can share happy moments together and learn how to make each party happy. This strengthens the relationship.
Anything can be settled with a quality heart-to-heart talk. It is not advisable for a married couple to sleep on their misunderstandings. Some believe that letting thing cool down is much better than pushing things. This is actually not effective for the most part. Oftentimes, letting things cool down is actually letting the holes grow bigger, while talking things over before the day ends is like patching up the crack. One of them surely will not be able to sleep better and wake up better when they have a hanging discussion to finish. A couple can better understand each other and can pinpoint the problem immediately if they are able to talk about it at once, thus resolving it and having a good night's sleep.

Strong Financial Bond One of the most common issues a married couple often has to discuss over is finances. It is not that easy to put all the financial responsibilities in perfect place. Often, it becomes the root of all disputes. It happens especially if a couple can no longer cope up with money matters, when one has become unable, or when they have too many expenses to settle yet have too little to draw.

This is actually the first thing that a couple needs to organize since they have a family and a household to run. They should both be willing to make an effort to keep their financial relationship intact.
A couple may open a joint bank account or debit card (online and offline) aside from a separate bank account to keep track of how much they make as a pair and individually. This is to allow financial dependence and independence at the same. Both should have room for financial growth without competing with each other.
What if there was a legal, moral, ethical way you could pay off your 15 to 30 year mortgage in 5 year or less without using your own money to accelerate the loan payoff?
