"MANILA, Philippines - Classes in all levels and work in government offices have been suspended throughout most of Luzon Tuesday as Typhoon Pedring continues its assault.
The Department of Education (DepEd) suspended all classes in primary and secondary levels in Metro Manila, as the metropolis was placed under public storm warning Signal Number 2.
Based on DepEd's guidelines, classes in pre-school, elementary and high school in public and private schools are automatically suspended if signad number 2 is hoisted over an area."
