 Schedule of Consular Outreach for 2014

The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh announces the schedule of Consular Outreach Missions or “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) for the year 2014.

The regular EOW will cater to the following consular services:

Passport renewal;
New passport for newborn babies;
Passport releasing;
Lost passport application;
Notarial and authentication services; and
Report of Birth registration.
Passport applicants will have to obtain an online appointment through the Philippine Embassy website http://www.philembassy-riyadh.org.  The online system will enable an applicant to choose his/ her preferred date and time of appointment for ePassport renewal.

An applicant should have a valid e-mail address to enable the automatic sending of the appointment confirmation. Applicants are also advised to refrain from making multiple bookings so as not to deprive other applicants from securing their own appointments.

Online appointments for a particular EOW will be opened 2 months before its scheduled conduct.

No Need to Come to Embassy and Camp Out for Repatriation - Repost

The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh has received inquiries from Filipinos to verify calls to them by certain individuals encouraging overstaying Filipinos to come to the Embassy, POLO and the Bahay Kalinga and camp inside the premises of the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh and in areas located adjacent to the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) and the Filipino Workers Resource Center (FWRC) or Bahay Kalinga in Riyadh, in order to seek repatriation.
The Embassy reminds Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that public rallies and protests are a violation of Saudi law, and impacts on the ability of the Embassy to deliver much-needed consular services to the Filipino community.

(Riyadh, 25 June 2013) The Philippine Embassy announces that the Consular Outreach Mission scheduled in Riyadh Industrial City on 04 July 2013 has been cancelled due to the correction period.

The Embassy reiterates that those with no appointments for passport renewal and their passports will expire in 2013 may proceed to the consular field office at Um Al-Hammam District. The field office is open for passport applications everyday until 30 June 2013 from 8AM to 12 noon except Thursday and Friday. (END)
