Typhoon Santi - PAGASA Forecast Signal No. 3

Typhoon Santi (international codename Mirinae) spotted 230 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon. It moving at 24 kph. According to PAGASA the Typhoon is expected to fall between 10 p.m to 12 am.

The bureau hoisted Storm Signal No. 3 in the Following Areas:


1. Polillo Island
2. Bulacan
3. Bataan
4. Rizal
5. Cavite
6. Laguna
7. Batangas
8. Oriental Mindoro
9. Lubang Island
10. Marinduque
11. Camarines Norte & Sur
12. Catanduanes
13. Metro Manila

Tyhoon Signal No. 2 Hoisted in the Following Areas:

1. Aurora
2. Quirino
3.Nueva Ecija
4. Tarlac
5. Zambales
6. Pampanga
7. Occidental Mindoro
8. Albay
9. Burias Island

Tyhoon Signal No. 1 Hoisted in the Following Areas:

1. Isabela
2. Ifugao
3. Nueva Vizcaya
4. Tarlac
5. Benguet
6. La Union
7. Pangasinan
8. Sorsogon
9. Masbate
10. Romblon
11. Calamian Group
12. Northern Samar
13. Panay

According to Nathaniel Cruz,
PAGASA weather branch chief, expect this storm to bring heavy winds and heavy rain. Always prepare with our 72 hours Survival Kits.

Updates Oct 31: Weather bureau PAGASA lowered storm alert signals over Metro Manila and several parts of Southern Luzon as typhoon Santi (international name Mirinae) moved off the coast of Batangas province Saturday morning. For latest news on the Typhoon Santi please visit ABS-CBN News.

Thank you for sharing this info, we'd been praying that as this storm passes our Archipelago, I pray to Almighty to spare the lives and properties of our Filipino people.

After Ondoy, nagkaruon na ako ng phobia sa bagyo, especially when you are situated in high risk areas of Metro East.

Lord CM- oo nga sana ay makuha natin sa panalangain.

Pope- Tama ka bro phobia. kaya marami din ang natatakot lumabas dahil sa typhoon Santi. Mahirap ang ma stranded lalo na kung may naiwan na kapamilya at kapuso sa bahay.

Thanks for the info, pre! Dati rati, I take this things for granted. But because of what's happening in pinas, consious na ako if a typhoon is coming towards our country.
