He envisions a Philippines free from corruption or “transactional politics.”
On President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. “Masinop mag-aral, may work ethic. Ang sabit niya ay sa governance…You have to be resolute in so far as your leadership is concerned. That I think is something na nagkulang siya.”
On how he will make a difference as a president. “Baguhin ang attitude. Aim high. Mag-ambisyon tayo. Bawal ang tamad—work ethic. Lalong bawal ang tanga—mag-aral tayo. Duty muna bago ang sarili. Dignidad at determinasyon—ginawa namin sa Subic iyon.”
On why he admires his father former mayor James L. Gordon. “He was a man born an American, but elected to be a Filipino… Pardon me if I’m getting emotional because sa tingin ko maraming hero sa mundo but you have to live your heroism not during your death but during your whole life. Sapagkat iyon ang nakita ko (sa kaniya).”

I like this man a lot. He knows exactly his vision and how he's going to do it. Sayang lang di na sya ganun kapopular compare noon. i really think popularity still matters in politics.

Rej - indeed he is a man of visions. he do a great things to Subic and hope for the best for his campaign.
Vernz- like bayani they have a visions to their areas. Popularity ? correct kayo dayn. yun nga nasa jail naeelect pa. Fine here Vernz.
Nice post! I'm just hope for a clean and safe election this 2010. And who ever wins as the race for presidency, I wish he/she can change our country from its current state. Anyway, I've been looking for topics as interesting as this. Looking forward to your next post.

Well, hes gaining steady popularity now...and like what my friend said... "integrity is unique." Sa totoo lang, kung lahat ng nagsasabing may gusto kay Gordon kaya lang hindi nila iboboto kasi 'dahil sa survey' hindi sya ang sikat...malamang malaki ang posibilidad na manalo sya. Sana hindi tayo magpadala sa survey at iboto natin ang sa tingin natin ang karapat dapat na pangulo. Kung magpapadala tayo sa survey, ano pang silbi ng demokrasya?
Esther- like Bayani ay may vision and disposition si Gordon. I'm from Marikina kaya I knew kalidad and abilidad ni bayani. Good luck na lang sa kanila.
